About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Milestone Education Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism and speech and language difficulties in our primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children with autism and speech and language difficulties in EYFS and Year 1
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Support children with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting children's needs
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and speech and language challenges
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential - enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key
