Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, engineering, and front office, to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption to guests.
  • Conduct regular property audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring that costs are minimized and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that maintenance needs are met.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and decorating, as well as health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
