As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance activities, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance-related work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, engineering, and front office, to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption to guests.
- Conduct regular property audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring that costs are minimized and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that maintenance needs are met.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and decorating, as well as health and safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
