GEMINI RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is seeking an experienced Housing Solicitor to join our client's team. As a Housing Solicitor Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the Housing team and providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
Key Responsibilities- Report directly to Department Director
- Provide professional, proactive approach and strong client care skills
- Responsible for all aspects of Housing work and provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members
- Manage appropriate caseload types and complexities
- Assist with casework, including dealing with public and private housing cases
- Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
- Deal with correspondence
- Maintain accurate time costing procedures
- Implement recommendations made by supervisor following monthly file reviews
- Ensure compliance with file management
- Must have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying
- Committed team player with ability to adapt to new challenges
- Previous proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators, desirable
- Professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters
- Excellent networking and communication skills with ability to market the company and generate new business
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
- Working knowledge of publically funded Housing work and ability to service privately funded cases
- Extensive experience in dealing with Housing related work
- Experience in own advocacy is an advantage
- Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills
