Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Clinical Leads (Radiologists) and Departmental Managers (Radiographers, Sonographers, and Administrative Managers) in overseeing and enhancing the performance of the Radiology Division, ensuring optimal service delivery through efficient resource management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Radiology Division against established local and national service benchmarks, while adhering to the financial guidelines of the organization.
  • Lead the assessment and resolution of complex operational challenges within Radiology, ensuring the effective provision of services.
  • Provide innovative leadership and management, offering clear guidance on service enhancements and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Deputy Director of Operations to achieve the strategic objectives of the clinical group.
  • Share responsibility with Clinical Service Leads, the Service Manager, and the Deputy Director of Operations for the operational oversight of the clinical service group.
