Key Responsibilities- Procurement Process Management: Run tender processes professionally, compliantly, and timely, working closely with budget holders to ensure seamless contract management.

- E-Procurement System Management: Support the improvement and maintenance of E-procurement systems to meet organisational needs and ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Contract Performance Oversight: Develop and implement contract performance oversight to capture supplier performance, including social value and inclusive growth obligations.
- Procurement Recording and Compliance: Manage procurement recording systems, contracts register, and supplier information register, ensuring compliance with internal processes and public procurement legislation.
- Project Evaluation and Management: Support the evaluation of projects and contracts, including KPIs and performance management, to ensure effective procurement and contract management.
- Procurement Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement tools, processes, and solutions across the procurement/contract lifecycle, ensuring best practice methodologies and compliance with contract standing orders and transparency obligations.
- Education and Experience: Degree level education or equivalent relevant experience, with a strong background in procurement and contract management.
- Procurement and Contract Management Knowledge: Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, procurement and contract management principles, and EU Directives and Public Contracting Regulations.
- Relationship Management: Strong relationship management (internal) experience, with the ability to advise on procurement matters to a range of stakeholders.
- Negotiation and Influencing Skills: Proven negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills to achieve value for money and ensure effective procurement and contract management.
- Professional Qualifications: MCIPS or IACCM qualification (or working towards) and ongoing membership of the relevant body.
