Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Primary School in Hackney

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team from September until the end of the academic year. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of a student in their Year 3 class that needs 1:1 support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher with classroom preparation and assist with the student's learning and development.
  • Work 1:1 with the student, identifying and responding appropriately to their individual needs.
  • Assist with the student's daily routine and provide emotional support when needed.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes the student's social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs.
