Senior Engineer - Integrated Control & Safety Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at ABB, where you will play a key role in delivering high-level ICSS & Application Engineering deliverables on various national & international Oil & Gas projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Project Engineering Manager to identify key resources during the project life cycle.

Your Responsibilities

Execute high-level ICSS & Application Engineering deliverables while working on various national & international Oil & Gas projects using various ABB products and Systems as required. Train and mentor new team members in ABB project procedures and standards, ensuring common solutions and practices are carried out across the project. Perform overall quality control of your own work (budget, schedule, plans & Deliverables) and report regularly on the project status. Review engineering deliverables (in accordance with process) and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. Assist with technical sales presentations and bid clarifications for new project work to prospective customers. Assist with and produce engineering estimates against client specifications for bids containing integrated control & safety systems.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent knowledge of all relevant ICSS industry performance standards and specifications as well as applicable package-specific performance standards and specifications. Significant experience in the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ICSS applications, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry, is required. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects is essential. Good working knowledge of Networks, IT/OT Systems, and Cyber Security requirements is necessary. Must have had hands-on experience working on projects executing ABB INFI and S+ solutions.
