Job Title: Principal/Lead Auditor - GFX, Rates and Global Electronic Trading

Location: London

Corporate Title: Vice President

The Group Audit (GA) department is on the lookout for a Principal Auditor to enhance its audit team focusing on Global Foreign Exchange (GFX), Rates, and Global Electronic Trading. This position will be pivotal in overseeing audit activities related to GFX, Rates, and Electronic Trading risks and controls on a global scale. The role is stationed in London and will report directly to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) of the FX, Rates, and Global Electronic Trading (eTrading) team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PAM in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits focused on Electronic Trading-related risks and controls.
  • Lead audit projects, emphasizing project management, draft audit findings and reports for management review, track findings, and ensure their resolution.
  • Conduct thorough audit fieldwork in accordance with the established audit methodology, including identifying key risks, documenting processes and controls, and testing the effectiveness of controls.
  • Carry out daily operational audit tasks and contribute to the successful delivery of audits.
  • Complete assigned audit work, including special projects and investigations, adhering to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with global audit teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of Conduct & Supervision-related risks and controls.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • IT auditor with comprehensive experience in Investment Banking, capable of bridging IT risks and controls with market conduct risks, particularly in an Algorithmic Trading context.
  • Extensive internal or external auditing experience, preferably within Investment Banking, focusing on Electronic Trading, FX, Equities, and Rates asset classes.
  • Proficiency in reading basic code for electronic offerings, such as SQL and Python.
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous, such as ACA, CFA, MBA, or FRM, though not mandatory.
