About the Role

Are you a qualified external auditor contemplating your next professional step? Perhaps you are currently in a smaller firm and seek to broaden your team and enhance the complexity of your responsibilities.

We are collaborating with a reputable mid-sized firm that is eager to welcome a Senior Auditor into their well-established audit team. In this role, you will engage with clients across various sectors, including Non-Profit Organizations and technology.

This position offers a diverse experience, allowing you to visit client locations throughout the UK, followed by a hybrid working arrangement upon returning to the office. While the primary focus will be on audit work, you will also gain exposure to accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and auditing of statutory accounts
  • Preparation of both management and statutory accounts
  • Training and supervising junior staff, including delegating tasks both on-site and in the office
  • Managing a workload consisting of approximately 75% audit and 25% accounting tasks
Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates will possess:

  • ACCA/ACA qualification with ideally 1-2 years of post-qualification experience acquired in the UK
  • Experience in leading audits and mentoring junior staff on-site
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Excel, along with familiarity with CCH ProAudit software and CCH Accounts Production
  • Experience in conducting audits for Non-Profit clients is a plus
