Production and Assembly Support

Milton Keynes (Brinklow) based role

Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Competitive salary of £23,920 per annum (£11.50 an hour) - 40 hour week - flexible start/finish times and excellent benefits

The ideal candidate will have assembly experience and strong dexterity to assemble a range of company products, using both hand and power tools to install components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products in accordance with manufacturing instructions.
  • Pick and pack products ready for despatch.
  • Operate a counter-balance forklift truck.
  • Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the production area.
  • Report any apparent component shortages to the supervisor.
  • Undertake appropriate training from time to time.
  • Perform other tasks reasonably requested by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a production and/or warehouse environment and previous Assembly experience is essential.
  • An effective team player who is able and willing to work with and alongside others undertaking similar roles.
  • Willingness to undertake training as appropriate to the demands of the role.
  • Able to work well under pressure and under own initiative, with a flexible approach to workload.
  • Comfortable with IT functions as appropriate to the role(s) for which training has been given.
  • Able to operate within an ISO 9001 environment but ready with concepts and ideas to continuously improve the operation.
