Production and Assembly Support Role

Milton Keynes (Brinklow) based opportunity for a Production and Assembly Support role, working within a dynamic team to build and assemble products to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products in accordance with manufacturing instructions, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Pick and pack products ready for despatch, meeting daily deadlines.
  • Operate a counter-balance forklift truck, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the production area, adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Report any apparent component shortages to the supervisor, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Undertake appropriate training from time to time, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Perform other tasks reasonably requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production and/or warehouse environment, with a strong background in assembly.
  • An effective team player, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Willingness to undertake training as necessary, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Able to work well under pressure, with a flexible approach to workload and a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable with IT functions, with a basic understanding of software applications.
  • Able to operate within an ISO 9001 environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
