Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Tameside Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the school building is cleaned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Meet health and safety standards for our pupils, staff, and visitors
  • Work collaboratively with the school community to maintain a positive and supportive environment
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the school facilities
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a school setting and interact with students, staff, and visitors

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 15:00 to 17:00
