Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities, including cleaning, security, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the school's premises, including daily cleaning, record keeping, and minor repairs.
  • Ensure the school's security systems are functioning properly and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Liaise with external contractors, such as window and carpet cleaners, and gardeners, to ensure the school's grounds are well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire alarm checks and legionella risk assessments.
  • Manage the school's cleaner and ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic DIY skills and a practical aptitude for general building and grounds maintenance.
  • Awareness of health and safety matters and a willingness to undergo training where necessary.
