Job Title: Trainee Branch Manager

Location: Aldershot

Hours: Full Time 40 hours

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Branch Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and profitable functioning of our branch.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and convert sales opportunities to drive business growth
  • Motivate the team to upsell incremental products and explore new business opportunities
  • Ensure comprehensive training for yourself and colleagues in line with company guidelines
  • Manage all thrift processes and procedures in line with audit criteria
  • Work within Service Level Agreements to drive performance improvements
  • Safeguard the branch and its assets, promptly reporting any risks or security events
  • Maintain effective communication with your Senior Location Manager and colleagues
  • Proactively manage your time to ensure branch performance meets targets

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure
  • Self-starter with a positive approach to team development and continuous improvement
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills
  • Previous experience in the car rental industry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn/use in-house systems)
  • Full driving licence (held for 12 months at least)
