About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Director to join our team at Thrifty Car & Van Rental. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, motivating the team to upsell and explore new business partnerships
- Ensure comprehensive training for yourself and colleagues, adhering to company guidelines
- Manage all operational processes and procedures, meeting audit criteria and driving performance improvements
- Work within Service Level Agreements, meeting branch KPI objectives and safeguarding the branch and its assets
- Proactively manage time to ensure branch performance meets targets, upholding GDPR rules and cybersecurity best practices
- Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting its interests at all times
Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure
- Self-starter with a positive approach to team development and continuous improvement
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills, with previous experience in the car rental industry or a related field
- Excellent communication and administrative skills, with proficiency in email, spreadsheets, and in-house systems
- Full driving license, held for at least 12 months
