We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Maintenance Supervisor for a leading food manufacturing organization recognized for its excellence in the industry. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to take charge of the maintenance department.

The organization is dedicated to addressing engineering challenges while enhancing the operation, safety, reliability, and performance of its facilities and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in leading a maintenance team within an engineering or manufacturing environment. A proven history of implementing improvements and preventive maintenance strategies is essential.

The successful individual will report directly to the Group Engineering Manager and will be responsible for overseeing a team of 15 professionals.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all engineering tasks are executed in accordance with site systems, health and safety legislation, and regulatory standards. You will manage maintenance activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and deliver engineering projects effectively.

Additionally, you will supervise the introduction of new machinery and equipment, with a strong emphasis on identifying and executing cost-saving initiatives across the site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Engineering Department
  • Ensure compliance with site systems, health and safety legislation, and industry standards
  • Manage project costs and deliver on time within the agreed budget
  • Oversee the implementation of new machinery and equipment
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives across the site
  • Manage all process and production engineering activities
  • Supervise contractors

Occasional travel to other sites may be required.


Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading a maintenance team within an engineering or manufacturing setting
  • Relevant qualifications in an engineering discipline
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Able to confidently implement improvements and changes as necessary
