We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Reservations Manager at our prestigious Charlotte Street Hotel. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our reservations department, where excellence in guest service is paramount.

As the Reservations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily activities of the reservations team, ensuring that all guest inquiries are handled with care and expertise. You will report directly to the Deputy and General Manager, collaborating closely with the management team to enhance our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming reservation calls and email inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports for the General Manager's review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, travel agents, and guests to ensure a superior service experience.
  • Oversee the financial management of the reservations department, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Consistently uphold the high standards of service expected at our hotel.
  • Effectively address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform Duty Manager responsibilities as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a luxury hospitality environment as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Proficiency in the Opera system is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of Front Office operations.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Awareness of current trends in hospitality and competitive landscape.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams through effective training and management.
