Role Overview

The Project Asset Coordinator is responsible for executing inventory management, utilization, and planning decisions based on independent research and judgment, without the need for managerial consultation. This role requires regular interaction with Inventory Management, Warehouse departments, Engineering, and Project teams to make informed decisions and resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a variety of complex tasks and provide functional leadership without direct oversight.
  • Conduct comprehensive inventory analyses and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Assess supply and demand challenges, propose effective solutions, and initiate actions to address these challenges with minimal supervisory input.
  • Lead teams of planners and other professionals in specific planning and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Analyze processes related to materials planning and recommend improvements to enhance outcomes.
  • Maintain frequent communication with Subsea Services Operations Project Managers, Operations Planners, Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and other Shared Services to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Main Duties

  • Oversee and manage demand for SDS & SPS Tooling across all projects and operations.
  • Develop Tactical Project Execution Plans for both internal and external stakeholders, coordinating system demand for Asset Service work orders.
  • Provide regular status updates on service order demands for customer maintenance and refurbishment plans.
  • Report status to Offshore Operations and Field Operations Managers, including service order updates and material shortage assessments.
  • Deliver initial feedback reports to Operations and other internal clients regarding capacity planning, scheduling, and procurement lead times.
  • Communicate critical business events to the Asset Service Manager/Supervisor within the organization.
  • Actively participate in strategic initiatives for the Asset Services Organization and mentor emerging talent.

Qualifications

  • Guyanese National.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ETM (SAP Module).
  • Understanding of Subsea Services Completions Rental / CP / Shop processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant theories, practices, and internal business processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve functional issues and enhance programs or processes to meet organizational challenges.
  • Capability to recognize and recommend corrective actions regarding contractual obligations to ensure compliance.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, with frequent visits to the workshop and other facilities. There may be exposure to shop hazards, including high noise levels and heavy machinery. The position involves 80% office work with extensive computer use, 10% in a manufacturing environment, and 10% offsite for industry events and customer engagements.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting and computer operation in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Some travel may be necessary for organizational needs and vendor or client interactions.
