Construction Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing construction schedules, ensuring compliance with workflow processes, and collaborating with project managers to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop construction schedules from target cost estimates and design work packs
  • Utilize Primavera Planning software to manage project timelines and resources
  • Ensure compliance with workflow processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date project plans, incorporating changes and optimizing resource allocation
  • Analyze project plans using critical path analysis and develop scenarios to present to the project management team
  • Apply industry-standard reporting techniques for schedule and cost reporting
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working for a main building contractor
  • Familiarity with project planning processes and Primavera Planning software
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ASTA knowledge and understanding
