Job Opportunity: Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
About Us: Walker & Sloan Ltd | Certified B Corp is a regional groundworks contractor specializing in groundworks packages for housebuilders and contractors.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our quantity surveying team as a trainee / assistant quantity surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the quantity surveying team with tasks such as cost estimation, contract administration, and preparing financial reports.
- Gain hands-on experience in managing the financial aspects of groundworks projects.
- Learn from senior team members and gradually take on more responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Some experience in a similar role.
What We Offer:
- Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience).
- Comprehensive package, including a car allowance, pension, and holiday.
