Advanced Practice Dietitian Gastroenterology Specialist

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly experienced and innovative dietitian to join our team in Gastroenterology. As a key member of our department, you will work closely with consultant paediatric gastroenterologists, nurse consultants, and a team of GI dietitians to deliver a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective dietetic plans for patients with gastroenterology conditions, including coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and short gut syndrome.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless care and support to patients and families.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines and protocols in gastroenterology.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and patients on gastroenterology-related topics.
- Participate in research and service evaluation projects to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- BSc in Dietetics or equivalent.
- HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate training in Paediatric Dietetics to masters level or equivalent.
- Substantial clinical experience and postgraduate training.
