About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at French Selection UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the UK and Ireland regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate leads for potential customers in the packaging industry
  • Communicate and negotiate with factories to secure prices, testing, and margins
  • Drive the sales lead conversion process into prospects and potential customers
  • Liaise and coordinate with the sales team to ensure continuous sales support
  • Coordinate with product managers for customer visits and product knowledge
  • Analyze data to recommend pricing strategies and set sales forecasts and annual budgets
  • Follow up on unmet sales forecasts and work with senior sales managers to resolve issues
  • Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and additional European languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian
Requirements
  • Experience in sales of flexible packaging products for the food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and hygiene sectors
  • Self-driven and responsible for growing sales in the region
  • Team player with dynamic, flexible, and adaptable skills
  • Happy to travel in the UK and Ireland on a weekly basis (50% time)
