About the Role

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's team at Cranswick Country Foods in Preston, Hull. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and monitor all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Audit and ensure good manufacturing practice across the site, including the implementation of corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor the quality of products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and record relevant information to support quality and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure the hygiene and housekeeping within the area exceeds the daily audit target.
  • Educate production colleagues on good manufacturing practice and provide training as necessary.
  • Ensure all start-up checks are completed to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
Requirements
  • An understanding of quality assurance and technical standards, including ISO 9001 and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with a diverse workforce.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Be organized and efficient in your work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to work on your own and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
