Job Summary:

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our client's Aspiring Educator Programme. As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in KS3 & KS4, as well as working with Sixth Formers during exam preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in KS3 & KS4, providing academic guidance and assistance as needed
  • Work with Sixth Formers during exam preparation, helping them to develop effective study skills and strategies
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO, Director for Learning, Educational Psychologist, Counsellor, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
  • Participate in training and shadowing opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge as a future educator

Requirements:

  • Bright graduate with future aspirations to teach
  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Confident and able to relay feedback to teachers and parents
  • Experience with SEN beneficial but not essential
  • Able to commit full-time for the academic year
