Position Overview

The lettings division plays a crucial role in the daily management and execution of property lettings within our organization. Collaborating with internal teams and local authorities, you will ensure a fair distribution of properties, managing the process efficiently and accurately. Experience in housing or lettings will be advantageous, allowing you to quickly acclimate to the role.

Your responsibilities will include guiding new clients through the lettings process, ensuring that all necessary information and documentation are collected and processed in accordance with established policies. You will be responsible for the precise setup of tenancies and the completion of essential pre-tenancy checks, working closely with our empty homes team to reduce vacancy periods. Additionally, you will maintain and oversee shortlists for advertised properties, adhering to the relevant local authority and Bromford policies to guarantee a fair and transparent process.

Ultimately, your contributions will help us meet significant objectives, but the most gratifying aspect of the role is witnessing individuals and families thrive in their own homes, building brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a front-line role. While experience in housing or lettings is beneficial, a genuine passion for customer service is paramount.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and be an engaged team player, capable of prioritizing and organizing your workload effectively.
  • Support prospective clients throughout the lettings journey, assisting them in finding suitable homes to enhance their well-being.
  • Collaborate within a high-performing team to achieve key performance indicators, ensuring that our properties are allocated fairly and transparently in line with our policies.
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
