Our client is a prominent provider of comprehensive waste management, quarrying, and construction services, dedicated to sustainability and innovation.

Due to their ongoing expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

Role Overview - Facilities Maintenance Supervisor


Lead the development of a high-performing maintenance team that fosters a culture of achievement and continuous enhancement through effective leadership and management, aimed at achieving operational excellence.

Ensure adherence to all pertinent statutory regulations and the internal company Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental Standards.

Drive enhancements in equipment availability and performance, including cost management, by implementing the company's maintenance best practices throughout the site.

Own, develop, and refine the engineering maintenance strategy.
Formulate and manage annual maintenance budgets.
Stay informed about and apply, where suitable, new condition monitoring technologies, maintenance improvement tools, and processes.

Support the growth of engineering personnel by defining and, when necessary, providing training in activities that promote maintenance improvement and coaching.

Key Responsibilities - Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Ensure the execution and delivery of maintenance procedures, initiatives, and controls across all areas of responsibility.
Oversee the established site maintenance, planning, and cost reporting systems to maximize their effectiveness for the organization.
Assist maintenance technicians as needed.
Support the plant manager in the operation of the facility in accordance with project agreements.

Collaborate with the plant manager to compile all risk assessments and safe systems of work for engineering and maintenance tasks, and train the maintenance team in these systems.

Manage contractors.
Define and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of all maintenance personnel, contractors, plant, and equipment.
