Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI designer with a strong background in e-commerce to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a UX/UI designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Lead Designer to develop a range of Direct-to-Consumer Shopify websites for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing low-fi wireframes and transforming them into high-quality, polished design outcomes for both Desktop and Mobile platforms.
  • Participating in client workshops and utilizing tools such as Hotjar and Google Analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Creating conceptual designs to support the commercial team and driving business growth through design.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, gained through agency, in-house, or freelance work.
  • A strong portfolio with case studies highlighting your design skills, emphasizing quality over quantity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small group setting.
  • Experience in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD and a strong understanding of design principles.
  • Experience in Shopify is highly preferred.
