About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at PBS4, a not-for-profit social enterprise providing support services for adults and young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and development, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the support team.

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, preferably in a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
  • Commitment to the values and principles of PBS, including person-centred approaches and trauma-informed care.
