About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, including supervising staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Work closely with our therapeutic team to provide a holistic approach to supporting our young people, including individual and group therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a residential children's home or similar setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
