We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Weight Management Service as a Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our psychology group offer, as well as providing individual treatment and supervision to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and delivery of the expanding psychology group offer within the Specialist Weight Management Service.
- Provide individual psychology treatment to patients with complex trauma and severe and enduring mental health conditions.
- Supervise and support the development of band 7 psychologists and other colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of new weight loss medications pathways and pilot projects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service-wide initiatives.
- Engage in consultancy, teaching, and training activities as required.
We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with:
- Appropriate post-qualification experience in assessing and treating complex trauma and severe and enduring mental health conditions.
- Experience of leading groups for people with complex physical or mental health needs.
- HCPC registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
