Compensation Package:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 annually.

Role Overview:

The primary function of this position is to serve as a Financial Planning Associate within the organization. This entails executing advanced administrative tasks, conducting client research, drafting reports, and maintaining client communication to ensure the highest standards of service are upheld. The role also requires close collaboration with Financial Advisers and Administrative staff to enhance the advisory process and contribute significantly to the firm's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting research to identify suitable advice solutions for both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborating with compliance and technical advisers to develop effective advice strategies.
  • Ensuring all client files and information are complete and accurate, including planning objectives.
  • Drafting Suitability Reports while maintaining consistency and high standards across client documentation.
  • Submitting documentation for compliance review, aiming for prompt resolutions.
  • Assisting in the implementation of financial advice.
  • Providing regular updates to clients and the team regarding progress.
  • Ensuring that fee and service agreements are properly executed.
  • Preparing detailed cash flow analyses.
  • Managing investment-related tasks as necessary.
  • Participating in initial client meetings when appropriate.
  • Contributing to the development of new business processes.
  • Performing general administrative duties such as handling correspondence and scanning documents.
  • Engaging in special projects as required.
  • Updating the team on product and provider developments.
  • Maintaining comprehensive client records and ensuring all necessary documentation is filed correctly.
  • Assisting in meeting preparations and addressing ad hoc client inquiries.
  • Attending client meetings as workload permits.
  • Pursuing an Advanced Diploma and committing to ongoing professional development.
  • Participating in training sessions to support your studies.
  • Managing your own study schedule and continuing professional development records.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of Diploma Qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience within a financial advisory firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Curo is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software such as Voyant, Cash Calc, Iress, Dynamic Planner, and FE Analytics.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and eager to contribute to the growth of a dedicated financial planning firm.
