We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As an Adult Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with service users and their carers to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide clinical practice within the urgent care setting, with a focus on community-based services.
- Follow agreed practice guidelines and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives.
- Work shift patterns across a 24-hour period, including night duties and weekend working.
- Participate in team meetings and activities as directed by senior staff.
- Work effectively with Urgent Care and Trust colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
Our service offers an alternative to hospital admission, follow-up care after inpatient treatment, home treatment interventions, and support for those under the Mental Health Act. We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and Wigan, as well as specialist services across Greater Manchester and beyond.
