Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at Aspire People. As a School Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop surfaces in their work area, including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.
  • Refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries, including hand wash, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Wash kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters.
  • Maintain cleaning products and order new supplies when necessary.
  • Take out the garbage.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing displaced toilet seats and unclogging sinks.
  • Conduct monthly disinfection and deep cleaning.
  • Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.

Requirements:

  • You must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one to work in our schools.
