Theatre Nurse Manager

Black Fox Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse Manager to join our team in the Belfast area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the operating theatre, ensuring that all procedures are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of theatre nurses, healthcare assistants, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities within the operating theatre, ensuring that procedures are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Quality and Safety: Monitor adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment within the operating theatre.
- Staff Development: Identify training needs and organize in-house training sessions or external professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the theatre staff.
- Resource Management: Oversee staff scheduling and allocate resources effectively to ensure adequate coverage for all surgical procedures.
- Financial Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the theatre department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
- Qualifications: Fully qualified General nurse, Mental health nurse, or Learning disability nurse.
- Experience: 6+ months Charge/Lead Theatre Nurse experience.
- Certifications: Advanced Life Support Certification.
