About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing new clients and expanding our business with existing corporate clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying and tendering for significant opportunities that require a Group-level approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively use market intelligence to identify and tender for substantial opportunities that necessitate Group-level management.
  • Own and lead tender submissions, including project planning and pipeline management, with the support of the Group Sales Director.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless commercial negotiations and renegotiations for bids and tenders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Sales and Tender Management system, serving as a central repository for information required for quotations and tenders across the Group.
Requirements:
  • Significant new business sales experience is essential.
  • Experience in bid writing and tender preparation submission is crucial.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs.
  • Experience in project work, including demonstrating successful process improvement.
