Private Wealth Tax Assistant Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance and Advisory Services Manager to join our Private Client Services team in Guildford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing full UK tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of regional, London, and internationally based clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the continued expansion of the Private Client Services team, with a focus on advisory work for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and families, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses (OMBs), private equity, trusts, and other varied asset bases.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing full UK tax compliance and advisory services, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory work.
- Assist Partners/Directors and the wider manager team in client work and team management, including special assignments on an ad hoc basis.
- Work with other BDO tax specialists nationally and internationally to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Demonstrable post-qualified experience in private client tax.
- Strong technical ability in the field of private client tax, with a deep understanding of the technical complexities faced by clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services to clients.
