About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in South East England. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals with learning disabilities receive the care and support they need to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets the needs of service users.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to individuals, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Participate in staff appraisals and supervisions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  • Undertake training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and service users.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
