Behaviour Support Assistant

U-Educate is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join one of our schools in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students with challenging behaviour
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the SENCO or teacher
  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills
  • Monitor and record students' behaviour and progress, providing regular feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and outings
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with 11-16-year-olds
  • Adaptability and willingness to be involved in all aspects of school life
  • Calm manner and ability to work as part of a team
  • Prior experience working with students with challenging behaviour, preferably in an educational or support setting
