Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Asset Management department at Scantec Recruitment. This exciting opportunity involves managing and executing Class I & II Capex projects, contributing to the construction and modification of physical assets at our client's terminals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute technical projects assigned by the Asset Manager, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare project details, scope engineering documents, and cost estimates, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Coordinate procurement and contracting of materials and services, fostering strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Commission and close projects, ensuring accurate as-built files and documentation.
  • Lead change processes for project scope adjustments, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical and management support on multi-disciplinary engineering works, driving project success and growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, EIA, Civil, or related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Proven track record in project engineering/management, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a terminal or related industry.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, CFR), with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Fluency in English and local terminal language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning software (e.g., MS Projects, Oracle Primavera, Autocad), with experience in project management tools and methodologies.
