Position: Procurement Specialist

Location: On-site – Cross Hills, Keighley BD20

Salary: Competitive remuneration between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum + Benefits

Employment Type: Permanent - 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays.

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team in Cross Hills.

This role is based on-site.

- Execute purchasing activities, including demand forecasting, price comparison, generating purchase orders, managing international imports, overseeing pattern management, and performing general administrative tasks as needed.

- Cultivate effective supplier relationships to enhance pricing, quality, and delivery performance. Proactively monitor and implement necessary adjustments to ensure on-time delivery and service levels.

- Employ a strategic mindset to align with the organization’s objectives regarding cost efficiency, service quality, and timely delivery.

- Collaborate with various departments and the supply chain to support product development from a procurement viewpoint, managing projects and initiating new purchasing activities.

- Provide assistance to fellow procurement team members during peak workload periods and in instances of absence.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on cost reduction across the organization.

- A competitive salary package ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

- Prior experience in the Engineering or Manufacturing sector.

- Proven time management and relationship-building skills, along with effective communication abilities across various organizational levels.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with MRP systems; experience with Efacs is a plus but not mandatory.
