About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Lead to join our Residential Care Homes team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Community Lead, you will play a vital role in making residents' lives stimulating and fulfilling.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents.
  • Provide clinical care for older adults, including recording observations on weight and blood pressure, and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Senior-level care experience, with a proven track record of leading and supervising a team.
  • Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
