Stores & Inspection Operative - Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores & Inspection Operative to join our team at Stafforce. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our warehouse and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the supply and demand process by managing inventory levels, processing returns, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Inspect and prepare parts for machining, including visual inspections and quality control checks.
- Raise purchase orders for in-house and sub-contracted machining, and coordinate delivery with suppliers.
- Support the flow of part numbers through our finishing value stream cells, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Clean, inspect, pack, and palletize goods for transportation, and complete supporting documentation for expediting orders.
- Perform basic data entry on our MRP system, and assist with consumable stocktakes, replenishment, and general stores duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in stores and inspection roles, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of MRP systems.
