Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Nottingham, UK

They deliver a comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary services, covering every stage of the project lifecycle-from consultation and design to construction, management, and maintenance. Their portfolio spans Education, Commercial, and Residential sectors, including both new builds and refurbishments.

Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join the team in Nottingham. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems that are efficient, compliant, and meet the needs of our diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical designs from concept through to completion for various projects in sectors such as Education, Commercial, and Residential.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create practical and innovative electrical design solutions.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Support senior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and sustainable practices.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
  • Good understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
