We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Applied Psychologist or Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Core CAMHS Team.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position that offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team environment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist evidence-based assessment and therapy to children and adolescents with mental health difficulties.
- Contribute to the provision, governance, and ongoing development of the services provided by the CAMHS team.
- Offer advice and consultation on young people's psychological care to professional colleagues and staff from other agencies.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the trust's and CAMHS' policies and procedures.
- Utilise research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
- Communicate sensitive information to clients, family carers, and others as appropriate, concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans of clients under their care.
- Deliver and complete clinical work across a range of contexts within out-patients and in ways that are flexible and focused on the needs of the young person and their family/carers.
