The People Pod is seeking a seasoned Project Development Manager to join our team and lead the design elements and interfaces of our residential projects. As a leading provider of innovative living solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality developments that exceed our clients' expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the design development process, ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered. They will also be responsible for reviewing design development to ensure compliance with safety working practices, current legislation, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review the design development process to ensure value engineering and buildability are considered.
  • Prepare, approve, and distribute the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Review design development to ensure construction of works follows safety working practices and is in accordance with current legislation, company policy, and procedures.
  • Implement and comply with SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and best practice within the business unit.
  • Support the achievement of the annual financial budget (operating profit) for the business unit.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Confer and recommend to the project team and colleagues on design best practices with practical and economical solutions to consultants or third-party supplier design.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Development Manager, ideally with a focus on high-rise and other diverse residential projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction design processes, standards, and regulations.
