Rheumatology Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our Rheumatology Research Team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of clinical knowledge in rheumatology.
Main Responsibilities- Recruit and manage a portfolio of clinical research studies, adhering to Good Clinical Practice and relevant professional standards.
- Act as a patient advocate, promoting the wellbeing needs and supporting patients throughout their clinical research journey.
- Assist with patient recruitment, screening, and conducting study visits, including patient assessment, data collection, sample collection, and monitoring of adverse reactions.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of clinical trials and studies, including management of study documents, data collection, and study consumables.
- Ensure study protocols and procedures are adhered to in accordance with local practice and GCP guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and audit, contribute to conference posters and publications as required.

Person Specification- First degree or equivalent, preferably in a numerate/scientific discipline.
- Professional nursing registration.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines.
- Experience in delivering evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work independently and co-operatively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to input data using a computer, familiarity with databases, and general computer literacy.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload and work to deadlines.
- Willingness to adhere to UCLH Equal Opps and H&S policies.
- Demonstrates evidence of professional development.
