Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our client's team of Independent Financial Planners. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Consultants in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Consultants: Assist Consultants in researching and analyzing client needs and objectives to develop bespoke financial plans and suitability reports.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare accurate financial plans and suitability reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have a full understanding of holistic financial planning and be comfortable querying Consultants on complex financial matters.
  • Product Knowledge: Have experience dealing with all aspects of advice, including Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, Bonds, and higher-risk investments such as EIS/VCT/BPR.
  • Compliance: Ensure that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to the Client Services Team (CST), assisting with product-specific, technical, and compliance-based queries.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Have industry-related experience and be working towards industry-related exams, or be passionate about obtaining the Level 4 Diploma.
  • Professional Development: Commit to continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
