About the Role

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is a leading innovator in real-time nanopore-based DNA/RNA sequencing technology. We're seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the Q-Line product line, an end-to-end sequencing solution that delivers the benefits of our technology in a locked-down, standardized format.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and articulate product requirements, defining clear success criteria for testing and acceptance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with applied product development, engineering, and software teams.
  • Identify and prioritize product features, driving the creation of applied solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct market research to uncover customer needs and opportunities for automation products, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate product launches and go-to-market strategies, working closely with marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in molecular biology, particularly next-generation sequencing, to inform product development and strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject.
  • Experience as a Product Manager or similar in a technical environment.
  • Experience in molecular biology, particularly next-generation sequencing.
  • Experience with agile practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and possess a flexible, collaborative approach.
