Job Title: Lead Communications Design Engineer


Location: Various locations with flexible working arrangements available.


Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.



Key Responsibilities:



Provide expert technical guidance and engineering solutions to support production activities, issue resolution, and modifications.
Comprehend the contractual and performance specifications for diverse systems, aiding in the establishment of acceptance criteria and events throughout the design, construction, integration, installation, and commissioning phases.
Create essential documentation to facilitate the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, and design justifications.
Conduct design evaluations and presentations for stakeholders.
Assess relevant supplier documentation to ensure proper recording and management.
Offer technical assistance for integrated performance and acceptance processes, including the acceptance of equipment from suppliers and system validation by the client.

Required Skills and Experience:


Essential:



Demonstrated experience in system or equipment design within communications and/or electronics.
Proven ability to work across various phases of the engineering lifecycle.
A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent qualifications and experience in an engineering context.
Strong technical writing skills and experience in defining and managing requirements.

Desirable:



Progressing towards relevant Professional Registration (Ceng).
Experience in designing systems or equipment utilizing various wireless access technologies.
