Job Title: Equipment Engineer
Job Summary: Belcan is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Aerospace and the management of new equipment requirements through to compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering solutions to customers and provide detailed technical guidance and execution of requirement management plans and the associated strategies.
- Collaborate closely with system architects, specialists from other disciplines, project teams, and suppliers to define and agree the specifications for airborne equipment and their associated support requirements.
- Be involved in the whole life cycle of the supply of equipment onto new and legacy programmes, from concept, specification, test, configuration, and installation.
Requirements:
- Degree in a STEM subject and a minimum of 5-10 years relevant engineering experience in Aerospace or a Safety Critical related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on requirements specification and development of airborne equipment.
- Experience working with suppliers and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of producing documentation such as Test Reports, System Requirements Documentation (SRD), Interface Control Documentation (ICD), Engineering Design Requirements (EDR), and Test Requirements.
